Our Loose Leaf Sage can be lit and burned in smaller amounts as needed. Use a heat resistant bowl filled with sand, rice or small rocks. Loose Leaf Sage can also be tossed right into an open fire to cleanse your space and prepare it for Personal Ritual or Public Ceremony. California White Sage is burned during Smudging Ceremonies to drive out bad spirits, feelings, or influences and to keep bad Energies from entering the area where a Sacred Ceremony takes place.
